Regional Manager – Workforce Australia Services
Location: Wimmera–Mallee and Goulburn–Murray regions: Must live and work in region and willing to travel to sites withing region.

The opportunity
We are seeking Regional Managers to provide operational and strategic oversight to the Employment Services division through the provision of Workforce Australia Services in the Wimmera–Mallee and Goulburn–Murray regions.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be accountable for financial management, compliance and contractual obligations, people leadership and service outcomes across multiple sites.
Connecting strategy to service delivery and strengthening relationships across local communities and employers - your work will have a direct impact on participant outcomes, service quality, and MADEC’s reputation as a trusted, ethical provider.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive contractual performance, SDA outcomes, and quality measures
- Improve participant job-readiness, participation, and sustainable employment outcomes
- Ensure audit readiness, data integrity, and full compliance with Deed and guidelines
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Build pathways with community organisations, RTOs, support services and employers
- Represent MADEC as a trusted regional partner
About you
You are an experienced senior leader who thrives in complex, performance-based environments. You balance service quality, financial discipline, operational performance, and social impact.
You will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Management, Human Services, or similar (or relevant senior experience)
- 5+ years senior leadership experience in Workforce Australia, Employment Services, or Human Services (multi-site or regionally dispersed preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of Deed requirements, SDA frameworks and audit/compliance
- Experience leading through reform, sector change, or organisational transition
- Proven performance management and financial oversight capability
- High-level stakeholder engagement and reporting capability
