MADEC is a not-for-profit organisation, and for over 50 years has been providing a service delivery network across Australia. We believe a job can change a life and we are driven to help people in financial or social disadvantage. Through employment services, vocational training, labour hire, and other services and programs, we empower people; connect with support; enhance skills and confidence; and provide them with the opportunity to reach the goal of employment.
Our Labour Hire Division continues to experience significant growth. We recruit and employ seasonal on-hire employees from the Pacific Island region each year under the Australian Government’s Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme. In addition, we recruit a team of permanent on-hire workers from across all our regions. Our on-hire workforce is predominantly placed within the horticulture, fish, meat, cleaning and hospitality industries; however, we are planning to move into other diverse industries.
We are now looking to recruit a strong and experienced Regional Manager to provide management support and direction to our teams in South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania.

- Manage client expectations, represent MADEC at industry events and report on performance data
- Lead, coach and allocate workloads for regional staff to meet compliance and service targets

- Oversee WHS systems and compliance responsibilities fostering a proactive safety culture
- Coordinate compliant accommodation, transport, licensing requirements, etc
- Oversea worker arrivals, inductions, pastoral care and enforce assignment and community guidelines
- Attend state-wide forums to gather labour-market insights and promote Labour Services
- Drive strategic goals, participate in continuous-improvement initiatives and uphold MADEC’s Code of Conduct
