We’re looking for a motivated, people-focused Job Coach to join our Wentworth team on a full-time basis.

What will you actually be doing?

As a Job Coach, you’ll work closely with participants to help them identify their goals, overcome barriers and move towards sustainable employment.

Your day might include:

• Getting to know participants and understanding their goals, strengths and challenges
• Providing practical coaching around resumes, interviews and workplace expectations
• Identifying suitable employment opportunities and connecting participants with local employers
• Building and maintaining strong employer relationships
• Connecting people with training, education and other support services
• Supporting participants after they secure employment
• Keeping accurate records and working towards meaningful employment outcomes

You don’t need to be an Employment Services expert.

In fact, some of our best Job Coaches have come from completely different backgrounds.

You could have experience in:

• Recruitment or HR
• Retail or sales
• Customer service
• Coaching or mentoring
• Training or education
• Disability or community services
• Case management
• Hospitality
• Or simply a role where working with people and solving problems was your thing

What matters most is how you work with people.

You’ll need empathy, resilience, strong communication skills and the ability to see potential in someone - even when they might not see it in themselves yet.
